![]() You can't get to the desert questline without it, and you can't finish the save-the-tree-farm questline without it either. Without ironwood, main story progress is bottlenecked. That said, if the back of the tree farm really is the only way to get ironwood (before the desert) with the new update, I think it might be a good idea to somehow inform the player, like with a quest to fetch some ironwood (with the NPC telling the player to go to the back of the tree farm). The name is a reference to Journey to the West, a classic in Chinese literature. As a completionist, I would say play Portia first and then Sandrock. Sandrock is a bit harsher on resource management than Portia is. It is on billboard about WANTED: DEAD or ALIVE post about strange man. I've never seen these kinds of trees anywhere else (workshop area, Amber Island, Collapsed Wasteland). After new update, I saw some interesting new quest. Ok I got it! I went to the back of the tree farm and found some light bark trees with yellow-green leaves, which yielded ironwood.
